Yes,
hops is a very popular herb to grow, especially for all you home brewers
out there. I don't personally drink beer, but this little medicinal jewel
of a plant is truly an amazing plant. The flowers are said to be good to
add to your pillow to help you sleep at night. It also makes a good herbal
tea for a sleep remedy.
Besides that, it is sure to be a nice conversation piece as you stroll
through your herb garden with a friend. But be sure to grow it next to
something it can climb and give it room. It is a tall climbing plant.
If it is still cold where you are, you have time to get this plant started.
Otherwise, wait to sow the seeds in FALL or WINTER
